Founded in 2001 to supply and support satellite and Internet service in West Africa, Ecoband marks 20 years of excellence in providing ISP service for the Ghanaian business community.
A partnership with Ecoband ensures a foundation that opens opportunity, drives innovation and delivers exceptional experiences. Our expertise in the ISP sector is proven by Ecoband’s status as a premier B2B ISP for Carrier and Enterprise Solutions in West Africa.
Currently Ecoband Networks is a Tier-2 Internet Service Provider, peering directly with Cogent, Level 3 and the London Internet Exchange LINX in Telehouse London, as well as Telecity Berlin with IPB. We also peer with Berlin Internet Exchange B-CIX from where Ecoband offers MPLS x-connect along with other international operators.
Additionally, we peer directly with all major CDNs such a Akamai, Amazon, Apple, CloudFlare, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Netflix and Yahoo.
Along with owning our own Broadband Wireless microwave network, which spans Ghana’s premier business communities, Tema, Takoradi, Accra and Kumasi, Ecoband provides last mile and backhaul services via our fiber optic providers. These include Csquared, Vobiss, Vodaphone and MTN.
Recently, the company’s operations have expanded to include Côte d’Ivoire Congo Brazzaville, Brukina Faso and Mali.
